We load in the morning and drive the route ourselves, so the people who wrapped your dresser are the same people setting it down at the new address.
That continuity means nothing gets relabeled, handed off, or lost inside someone else's shipment along the way.

Long hauls are priced by the weight of the load and the miles driven. We walk your rooms first, give you a written figure, and then weigh the loaded truck on a certified scale so the final number is tied to something real rather than a guess.
Because we drive these routes often, we know roughly how long I-35 takes at different times of day and plan the departure around it.
Texas distances add up fast
Austin to El Paso is closer to nine hours than a quick trip, and even Austin to Dallas is a full day once loading and unloading are counted. We plan fuel stops, driver hours, and an overnight where one is needed before the truck ever leaves your driveway.
Summer adds another layer. A closed trailer parked in a July afternoon gets hotter than the air outside, so heat sensitive items load last and come off first at the other end.
When a rental truck stops making sense
Driving a rented truck yourself looks cheaper until you add fuel, mileage, a hotel, and days away from work, then the strain of loading a large box truck yourself in ninety-five degree heat without a ramp crew.
For a small studio, driving it yourself can still make sense. For a full house with a garage and a piano, hiring a crew that already knows the route is usually the calmer choice.
Booking around the calendar
Long-distance loads out of Austin get busiest at the start and end of each month, and again through the summer stretch when leases and closings cluster together. Booking three to four weeks ahead gives us room to plan the route and the crew properly rather than scrambling the week before.
If your closing date is still moving, tell us as soon as you have a rough window. We would rather hold a tentative date and adjust it than try to find a crew on two days' notice.
